Arlington County Public School District - Good Middle/High Schools?

I am a single mom and federal employee. With the RTO it's impossible for me to make it to school drop-off/pick-up and also to/from work in time. I'm looking to move us from a NW DCPS to ACPS within the next few years. I know the Yorktown and Williamsburg areas have been ranked well, but on a single, federal government salary I can't afford the $1.4M+ homes. I'm hoping to move us only once, so my kiddo will stay in the school district for the entire duration. Are there other school districts (ACPS or beyond, but near Ballston/Rosslyn) parents can recommend, please?

ACPS = Alexandria schools
APS = Arlington Public Schools

I'd buy in bounds for Yorktown or Washington-Liberty HS. All the feeder middle schools are good.
