PSAT Commended/Semifinalist notification?

I know FCPS doesn’t announce this until well into a kid’s senior year, but when does the student get notified? Seems like good information to have for college applications etc.

They do not need to wait for the letter to put in on their application. The cutoff is the same for all states (210). If they got above a 210, they are NMSF Commended.

Commended letters went out to the schools in September. Reach out to your child's school if you did not get it.

Do you mean for the scores coming out today for Juniors? Students won't be notified offiically of anything until next Fall.

Yes, for the juniors this year (class of 2027). I guess when did the cutoff come out for class of 2026?

Literally the day the kids are told by their schools. Sometime in the middle of September.
