| DD's BF is taking a winter break trip with us. They've been dating 18 months and are fairly serious. He is a college grad in the work force and she still has another 3 semesters of college. Relationship seems solid and healthy. What is something small to have for him for Christmas? We are a different religion but want to have something for him for Christmas Eve or Day. TIA. |
| A sweater. Socks. |
We're traveling so I don't want to pack anything additional. Have no idea what I would do for a sweater. |
You would go to Quince and order a sweater, what do you mean you don’t know what you would do? If you don’t want to take any gifts you won’t have any gifts, the ask makes no sense. |

I think OP means a physically small gift.

|
A book.
Gift card to a shop/store that he likes. Mittens/gloves. Expensive candy, if he likes candy. |
| What is he in to? Start there. If you want small get a gift card or cash. |
| If you can’t manage socks or a sweater, Get him a gift card I guess. I can’t think of anything smaller. |
| Small yet fancy chocolates. |
something small - sweaters are not small. |
| What industry does he work in? What is your budget? |
He is in education. Sporty and outdoorsy, but not necessarily preppy. |
Thinking no more than $75-100, maybe as low as $50. |
| Leatherman Signal. A bit out of your budget, but if you shop Black Friday you’ll get a deal. If you’re flying, you’d need to check it obviously. |
|
if he's on vacation with your family and you don't exchange gifts and you don't want to bring anything with you and you'd rather spend less than $50, then buy him a hot chocolate or Aperol Spritz or a pretzel from the Christmas market (anything local) and say "Merry Christmas!"
That's enough for an adult. |
