Anyone still waiting on their 2025 tax refund?
I filed in February, called my senator, they are waiting to hear back (that was in the summer), keep checking online, etc.
They owe me several thousand dollars and I would like it!

It took them several months and an ID verification to get mine this year. But they did pay interest on what they owed.

It says "received" but not "approved" or "sent" which are the next steps it shows.

put your expectations on pause during the shutdown.

You will get it eventually plus interest, but sometimes it takes ages... The shutdown is not helping obviously.

So it’s normal for it to take 9 months? I’m fine as long as we get it, but this just seems crazy and I keep thinking I did something wrong when I filed (I do it myself bc we are very straight forward).

That's weird. We filed late with an extension and I was worried we wouldn't get our refund because of the shutdown but it was in my account within 10 days!

Same. It hit so quick, I was surprised at my account statement.
