Episcopal School vs McCallie School

Does anyone on this board have experience with these two schools? Our son is considering these for high school.

Where do you live OP?
I don’t have a child at either of these schools but have been to both of them for sports tournaments. I can thus only speak about the area and the campus.
McCallie is in the middle of no where in Tennessee. Chattanooga isn’t exactly a great town and it’s not easy to get to with very few direct flight options. There isn’t much for kids to do outside of campus and the area around campus is very run down. We spent a long weekend there in winter and my kids couldn’t wait to leave.

The campuses are comparable but Episcopal is in a clearly better location with close proximity to DC and everything it has to offer. On that alone, I’d choose Episcopal.
