George Washington EA without supplemental essay?

We’re down to the wire and DD is asking me if she should apply to GWU EA without doing the supplemental essay. She simply doesn’t have time to write it as she’s been working on other things.
She’s looking to study international relations. |

Because her child likes it? GW is a T-50ish school. Graduates from it do well in life. |

They also have ED2, same deadline as RD. |

Not a good look to skip the essay for an ED application. If the school is such a #1 choice that she’s willing to ED there, she should have been able to prioritize a few hours for the essay, at least. She should consider doing ED2 and actually spending some time on the application. |

Just to be clear, for applying early, GW only offers binding ED, not EA. |
