What is the timeline when seniors apply to colleges?

Is your son a senior? You are very late in the game to be just starting the very first steps of the process. Go to the websites of the schools NOW and gather all the info on dates and requirements. Your kid needs to talk to the school college office asap.
You might be able to squeak out EA apps with 11/15 or 12/1 deadlines but otherwise you are looking only at RD. |

Midnight TONIGHT for many with early decision or early action. Not sure if that is eastern or central time - anyone know?
Hopefully they already have teacher recommendations? Drafts of essays written? Counselor could maybe send transcripts etc Monday but you have to check. |
