UVA score question- portal

My kid submitted UVA EA app last week. He put self-reported ACT scores and AP scores in common app.

Last night he showed me UVA’s portal which does show his ACT scores in self-report (highest only).

But then lower down it says Self-reported testing. On your honor you may add self-reported scores below don’t superscore any test.

We are confused- does he need to report down here too—in addition to the ones on common app or is this only if someone has new scores ??

UNC is the exact same and was confusing to my kid. She emailed them and they said they had her scores. I think it’s only if you want to update with higher scores after submitting initially.

Yes! Thanks so much for responding. I re-read the page and it says “if you do not see scores below (hugs from common app are there) then you must self-report at least one to complete submission.
