Opinions requested on this handbag from Etsy. Black or Tan?

I’ve been looking for a uniquely shaped handbags that don’t cost a fortune. I love the Loewe bags for example but I’m not wanting to spend thousands. Even Polene is now far pricier than they used to be.
Avoiding tariffs is another challenge. I found this bag this morning and it’s been on my mind all day: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1192082437/?ref=share_ios_native_control I have a handbag organizer so I’m not worried about everything falling out. Thoughts on the colors black vs. tan? Does it seem well crafted? |

The tan looks cheap. The piping doesn't bend evenly.
The black looks better. I have owned many black pleather handbags. They hold up very well. But they are usually finer grained than this pebbled faux leather. Not sure I totally believe your post. I don't think Polene shoppers like to buy $50 pleather bags. I buy such things, but the only expensive bags I've bought are old skool Coach. |

Cheap bags look best in black to hide flaws.

| I like the IDEA of that bag, but just not that one. The tan is a weird shade of tan, and the cool thing is not just the shape but the piping and you can't see that on the black one. I am also worried it's kind of cheap. |

Sorry OP, but i can’t let you buy that purse. A 4.0 rating on Etsy is quite low and that’s not a good sign - you’ll be unlikely to love it when you see it in person. I’m usually hesitant if a seller is below 4.8 or so - i buy a TON of things from Etsy and think you need to find a store with better ratings.

| It looks like a Chinese knock-off. No idea if it is, but there is way too much of that on Etsy these days. You could probably buy it on a street corner somewhere, unfortunately. |
