Are your kids putting down their full middle name?
Are they listing their future AP tests, the ones that they'll take May of senior year? Sara Harberson advises that you don't list them. But that seems odd, and it doesn't seem like you are binding yourself to taking them in the event that something happens or if you're sick. Are your kids marking race? Are they answering the questions on US armed forces or whether they are Hispanic? If you don't mark an answer, when you preview it, the preview looks a lot cleaner - there's no mention of the question at all. But if you click no, then the preview shows the question and your answer. Good luck to all our kids! |

this is what we did. I don't think that there are set things for your questions:
Yes, he put his middle name. No reason not to, but also probably doesn't matter. He listed his future Ap tests. No reason not to and I don't think they are as binding as you're making them to be in this context. He def said he wasn't armed forces. FWIW, the preview that you see isn't the way it appears to them. I don't think it matters either way if it's "cleaner". They're looking at literally thousands of apps. They know what it's supposed to look like. |

Yes middle name, yes future AP tests.
SH gives strange advice. I’m pretty sure my kid answered any questions about race/military - I don’t remember what was asked, though. |
My kid is putting down their middle name, all future AP tests (since I paid for them already and they are registered already). They are marking race as Asian because their last name will make that obvious anyway. |
| OP here, thank you to all your voices of reason |
| Where do they put AP tests? My DS is not reporting any test scores. Did we miss a box somewhere? |
It seems like her advice gets more people asking questions this year than previous seasons I kept an eye on this forum. The colleges hide race from the admissions readers. There's too much at stake for them to break the law. |
It's in the testing section. If you are test options, you don't enter any. |
Maybe she is trying to drive “clicks” by saying controversial things. |
yes on everything |
