| I know that they cannot go on strike, its illegal, but can they just straight up quit? What would happen if more than 50% of TSA employees just quit? Its their right isn't it? |
| That would be the epitome of quiet quitting. The sound of quitting when no one is there to hear you resign. |
|
If they ever want to get back into Fed again, maybe not look good?
|
| Not only can they quitt, it's Russell Vought's dream that they all do so. |
| Of course. They're not indentured servants. They can quit whenever they want. |
Lower the VERA age/service requirements and we'll all leave Russell!!!! |
| So what happens if 50% or more TSA agents quit? Do we just cancel flights? |
+1. Give me my benefits and I'll leave and never come back. Idiots like Vought don't deserve my hard work. |
No. Make Russell Vought take their place and work overtime. He's got nothing to do anyway, and claims he's smart, so I'm sure he'll be a fast learner. |
Why can't AI do their job? |
Peak quiet quitting. |
|
ATC aside, what does your average TSA security employee make? Can they replace that income? If the security of working for the federal government is gone, what else is there? And where you dont have to deal with the hassle of travelers.
|
| They should, they’ll get rehired when the ish hits the fan. If they want to get rehired. Better to work retail for money than TSA for free. |
|
Of course they can quit. They could just stop showing up too.
TSA agents start at $23 per hour. They could work a lot of retail jobs and be better paid |
They’ll hire them back as contractors from companies owned by Trump cronies. |
