NP. I don't think so. If you have been following the drama, Brian Kelly from LSU this week and it is partly due the the governor demanding his termination, due to the team having a bad year. I am no Brian Kelly fan, but giving the guy $50K+ to leave is distressing considering all the poverty that could be solved in Louisiana. Imagine what else they could do with that money. Such a waste. |

The buyout was stipulated in his contract. They can't just not give it to him. And it isn't just a Louisiana thing. Most SEC and B1G coaches have similar buyouts, especially at traditional football powerhouses. |

This is really my main issue with SEC schools. These schools have become hot all of a sudden and I just don't see how kids from liberal households will handle it. |

Stay on topic. It's about the MAGA governor, whose basically a football fan, thinking he knows better than an AD. Sort of like all those crony MAGA hires with no experience, no brain, but plenty of opinions in the executive branch replacing seasoned feds. |

I'm as big a sports fan as there is but the whole thing has gotten stupid. These idiots have so much money to waste on buying out coaches but won't spend a penny on taxes to feed or get healthcare for the less fortunate. |
