Specifically with a straight or wide/wide-ish (but not barrel) jean?
It's ok if it looks a little off in an endearing way, as long as it doesn't look off in a "weird aunt who eats cat food" way. I don't really have a reason to wear dresses or skirts anymore, so don't want to buy these shoes if they're cute on the page but I'll never actually wear them. https://www.jcrew.com/p/womens/categories/shoes/heels/teagan-scalloped-lace-up-heels-in-patent-leather/CP056?color_name=black&colorProductCode=CP056&fit=Classic&display=all https://www.jcrew.com/p/womens/categories/shoes/heels/teagan-t-strap-wing-tip-heels-in-patent-leather/CM927?display=standard&fit=Classic&color_name=milan-brown&colorProductCode=CM927 |
| Depends how old you are. If you are 20s and 30s, fine. If you are 40+ then they could look frumpy (especially the second ones). |
|
The second ones are super cool give that beat aunt vibe.
The first pair looks like you went to your first communion, and then we teleported to the future. |
| The second pair is much cooler than the first. |
| yikes to both. |
| The jeans need to be ankle length, but I do think you could. |
| Super duper dislike the first pair, but like the second pair a lot. I don't eat a whole lot of cat food, but am definitely a weird aunt, so there's that. |
| OP here. I am in my 40s. I think I prefer the second pair, too. After looking at them more closely, the first pair are giving me grunge kinderwh0re vibes. But I may just go with the boring tassel loafer instead. It's probably more comfortable, anyway. |

I think they are hideous.
Keep shopping, |

This much be a troll post, correct?
Both pairs are atrocious. |
| Yes, for sure. I like both of them. They work as long as the jeans are anklish. |
| I love the first pair but I'd definitely wear them with dresses that have a bit of a Victorian orphan goth aesthetic, which doesn't sound like your vibe. I wouldn't wear them with barrel jeans. I think the second could look ok with ankle or skinny jeans, but it's a bit much for school pickup. |
| I would have trouble styling them and not wear them much. |
Post an alternative. |
| 2nd pair, but disagree with previous posters on the jeans. They should be long and dark, with either a straight or a slimmer flare shape. |
