Did you have any reaction to Novavax?

Did you have any reaction to Novavax? I know the side effect profile is lesser than the mRNA ones, but I’d like to know how common side effects are still.

I did not. The 2 times I've had Novavax, the most I had was a little fatigue for 24 hours. Oh and the arm hurt for a few days (but I have that with all Covid shots, novavax was less than with Moderna)

All my other shots have been Moderna, and I definately have side effects with them.

I wanted the Novavax because of the lesser side effects but they only had Moderna so I got that one. I didn't have a reaction with that except for a sore arm. You should be ok OP, but prepare for fatigue, of course.

Slightly tired but so much milder than my reactions to Pfizer vaccine

Yes, I had four days of flu-like symptoms and low-grade fever. The reaction was strong enough that it kept me out of work, so my doctor ended up prescribing a short steroid taper to get me out of the rut. I should add the caveat that I have had every type of COVID vaccine that has been available in the US—including J&J—and I am always sick for 3-5 days after. I’ve talked to my doctor about this, and she’s suggested taking ibuprofen and Benadryl in advance of vaccinations. The one time I did so I think it may have helped a bit. It was just difficult to time the four suggested doses, and the Benadryl made it hard to work the day of the vaccination.
