We are in western Fairfax County.
Recs for lower level, less expensive club team? My kids have done other sports for years, but these club fees of 6-7k for a season are a lot. |

Tryouts start Friday. At this point since you are asking for lower level and recommendations, I’m assuming you have not gone to any clinics. U15 is very competitive.
Maybe try VA Athletics and Vienna Elite. Vienna Elite has a practice player option that is less. Va Athletics might be easier to make but I’m not sure how competitive they are at U15. DYS is in Sterling and less expensive and because of that will be harder to make because more girls will try out. |
| I just looked up VA Athletics and they are $5250 and they will give you $1000 off if you volunteer to help team parent. |

If you don't go club route, look at spring travel, which is far less expensive. I have heard McLean Youth Volleyball recommended a few times. There are likely other local rec programs that could offer valuable development. Once caveat - many rely on parent volunteers, which can make or break the experience and growth in skills.
