I don't think it's "hating". There's one dad who keeps insisting that St Andrews is no. 1 and chatters away about "Stoxbridge" being the new norm. People just react to that because it's absurd.

They found a good fit and they are happy!

Being happy is one thing. Being delusional is another. This particular St Andrews booster has crossed the line and has completely lost toss with reality. It’s just not a great school academically when compared to its peers. But it may certainly be a perfect fit for some students.

I dont know who you think "its peers" are, but St Andrews ranks higher than Georgetown, UVA, and William and Mary
