Just wanted to find out what people think of Sam Rosenberg - Pediatric Pulminologist. I will be bring my child there for evaluation treatment plan in the near future and wanted some feedback. he was recommended by my pediatrician.
Thanks |
I don't know of him, but I do know of a great Ped. Cardio guy - Dr. Hougen at Virginia Hospital Center. He also has an office in Foxhall Bldg. He may do some pulmonary work as well. Really wonderful and warm person.
Is Dr. Rosenberg at Inova Fair Oaks?
We've seen Dr. Rosenberg. My son was under 1 when we started seeing him, and he didn't always seem to have the patience that goes with a baby. I've since heard others a bit put off by his bedside manner. I post only to warn you that he might seem a bit put-off at first. However, he was always very nice to me and provided sound/helpful advice. He did scare me on our first visit (constant wheezing) by sending us for a sweat test (for cystic fibrosis), but he has always been thorough and wanted to rule out serious concerns so that they didn't linger in his diagnosis. Good luck.
We saw him once for an evaluation with our 3 yr. old son. We liked him very much and thought he had a good rapport and was patient with our son.
We have been with him for 2 years now. I come from a family of physicians so I really like his no nonsense, down to business style. I can see if someone needed more of a TLC doctor that they may be put off by him. But make no mistake. He is good.
