This is very real and moving - her son writes about their disease of addiction.

I’m uncomfortable with how much he puts on his wife for saving him. I appreciate the honesty but that’s troubling.

The way he talks about her and their “perfect dog” etc may not bode well.

He’s a good writer though.

He almost died. Ugh. Poor guy.

That was intense and hard to read, because of the raw emotion ans because it shows how hard (inadequate word) it is to break the pattern of an addiction. I can’t imagine how hard one’s day to day life is when in recovery.

He is a good writer, I hope he sticks with it.

God bless Fern for marrying an addict and becoming part of that large, dysfunctional family. I truly hope she and Kevin live happily sober ever after.

That was my thought too. If it had been my daughter I’d have hired a plane to fly over her home daily with a banner saying, “RUN!”.

Wow. That was very well done. Also wishing him well -- he's talented.

I feel sorry for Tatum. Her parents were useless and abusive.

Wow, rich people with addictions. They should make a movie out of this. It’s so much more interesting than poor people with addictions. Right?
