I also LOVE Dr. Subramanian. I love her because she is so experienced and therefore is NOT constantly sending you for unnecessary tests (before Dr. S., we went to a younger doctor who recommended all sorts of invasive tests that were not necessary). When faced with surgery, etc., Dr. S. always pushes you to get a second or even third opinion. She loves kids and really connects with them. She is willing to talk to you on the phone even for things that are not full blown emergencies.

On the other hand, she has a very small waiting room and sometimes has not such great coverage when she is on vacation. I haven't always liked the specialists she has recommended, but she is OK with you finding someone else.

Would you consider Silver Spring? We love Dr. Feldman at Pediatric and Adolescent Care of Silver Spring. DD as well as her cousins and several neighborhood kids all see him as well and everyone loves him.
