| DD is clinging to the hope that she will get an offer. Once I know offers are out, I can adjust expectations. |
| I assume you are not a returner to MVSA because you would be in contact with the other parents. What age group are you looking at? What is your DD volleyball experience? |
| Not a returner. 14, 3 years of Metro |
Metro can mean many things. With 3 years of Metro travel under your belt, it should not be difficult to get an MVSA offer (unless they smell that this would be a safe club and you are actually interested in continuing to play for Metro Travel). On the other hand if Metro means "Metro Central" you may not get an offer from MVSA - most of the returning MVSA players are likely better than the players in Metro Central. It all depends whether your DD was a top player in Metro Central who is looking for a better club. If your DD was an average Metro Central player, you are unlikely to get an offer from MVSA. If an MVSA offer is not coming, look for clubs that are only slightly better than Metro Central and go to the makeup tryouts. |

Are offers out? |
| First Offers to any club tryouts tend to go out within 1 hour after the conclusion. |
OP here. That’s now how MVSA explained the process in 2 days of tryouts. Have any girls received MVSA offers? |
I am not familiar with MVSA, but I can guarantee you that offers have already been sent out. It's a race against the Tuesday 10pm deadline to lock in the best players available. |
| Yes we received our offer for MVSA late last night. Returning player. |
Thanks so much—we’re back to Metro Travel. Not sure why so many with no MVSA knowledge felt compelled to weigh in—this was the answer we needed to move ahead. |
Did MVSA smell that you were just trying to get a safe spot? |
FWIW, they said they haven’t finalized their rosters yet so there may be some movement still. But Metro Travel is obviously a more competitive choice and I know my DD would choose them even though she loves MVSA. |
