Tons were called back last week to work for no pay.
I agree though, they should get back pay asap. It makes be livid that this is happening. I am not a fed and actually know no Feds but I think they serve the rest of us and should be respected.

Congress shouldn't be paid and expected to work 24-7 to fix this.

And, contractors whose contracts were not prepaid will not get paid.

Congress is being paid. Staff are not. Also House has been on a long term recess because Johnson is scared of Epstein files and ceded all control to Trump.
