Potomac - Internal Upper School Test for Admissions

Anonymous
DS is applying to Potomac 9th. He is a strong student but his first try on the SSAT was not great (in spite of getting tutoring).
I was wondering if it would be better for him to sit for their internal test. I have no idea though what the test is and I feel it would be a huge risk to take a test that he can't prepare for.
Any ideas on what the test looks like? how hard it is compared to the SSAT?

The SSAT is a difficult test. Percentiles in the 80s and above are great. Are you sure you are calibrated correctly?
