| A lawyer in DC for the IRS named Isaac set up Shysterdog when the govt shutdown started bc as he said he “had to do something all day.” He bought the stand and got all the permits. I’ve passed him a few times . But this is the first time I stopped and chatted with him. You can follow him on Instagram @shysterdogs |
| That’s cool. I wish I had a side hustle. Good for him. I don’t eat meat or I’d stop by lol. |
So how's your biz going Shyster? You'd get more attention if you put up a picture of Lionel Hutz on your stand.
|
| I hope Issac is Jewish because shyster is often used in an antisemitic context. |
The page doesn't come up for me on IG. Maybe IG shut him down due to the name. |

| Yeah- he’s Jewish. Look at him |
LOL. I love it. He is def Jewish. I loved the fact that he is still dressed up like a lawyer making hotdogs. Best luck to him |

I asked if he has kraut. Waiting for an answer.
He’s definitely a mensch. |
| My friend’s stepdad was a bank president and ran a hot dog cart on weekends as stress relief. |
Same. Maybe he should load up on ikea veggie dogs and serve those too! I’d stop every day then. |
| This is funny! Good luck to him! |
| What a cool idea. This is the kind of thing I hear people talk about but never do. |
Heh - I am extremely skeptical of the "lawyers go into food service" shtick (remember all the bakeries and cheese makers in ~2005?) but that is a strong Instagram game and the suit is a nice touch. Good luck to him. I would love to hear about the economics of it, too. |
He has kraut. He's in an insta video saying he will serve whatever but mustard and kraut is the best way to go. |
