| If you are a full time parent but work remotely part time and have a salary - what do you say when asked what you do? Niece is struggling with this question which she is asked often. She primarily is a stay at home mother but she works part time/full time but flexible hours remotely for her family owned business. She identifies as a full time parent but when others inquire about how she makes money she is puzzled how to answer. |

What does she do for the family business? She could day she is a bookkeeper/customer service/admin/etc for a family business. She could substitute dry cleaner/landscaper/ softeare company/radiologist/whatever for family business.
Why is that hard? Who asks? If someone doing her taxes, a bank, credit card company yes answer. Otherwise WUT? |

Variety of tasks - advertising, some supplies, places ads for jobs available, etc.... What is WUT? |

She is on salary because if something is needed she does it but can go a week without doing something - flexible job. Orders items for office ie: new rugs, paintings etc... |
