NYE in Rome or Venice? Which to pick?

Found Venice kinda blah for NYE. But to be fair things were not great as it was during the Omicron surge. People were out and about, the dining was great, and we didn’t have any flooding.
I think I would have preferred Rome or Florence. |

| We did Venice over NYE after skiing. It was absolutely lovely but we heard multiple times that we were fortunate that there was no flooding at the time. |
