How on earth did this lazyass entitlement start? And then spread like herpes?
How hard is it to park like a normal person and then get your item? |
|
My favorite is when people do this IN A PARKING LOT. Like you are in parking lot and can't even be bothered to walk 10 extra yards.

| Many times it’s a Door Dasher. |

It's uber and delivery services. Their performance is measured down to the second, and if they take longer, their orders and therefore their income are reduced. Anyone who ever downvoted a rideshare driver because they stopped at the corner instead of directly in front of the door has contributed to this.
Once they started it and got away with it, a bunch of antisocial people decided to pile on. |
No. i see regular lazy ass “special” people do this in a parking lot. My favorite is when they park in the opposite direction - they can’t even be bothered to park in the right direction. |
| In Boston this is common. It’s more acceptable in certain cities. |
I’m in a hurry. Deal with it. |
This has been prevalent for decades. |
| It’s a lot of food pickups and delivery. Police should ticket them. |

| Low class |
| It's incredibly rude when you block a lane in dense traffic, and also dangerous when you do this in a turn, as the lack of visibility increases the risk of collision. I come across the latter every day on my commute: there's a restaurant on my way to my kid's school that has deliveries and random cars stopping in a 90 degree turn. Incoming cars need to stop abruptly and wait for a break in traffic to get into the other lane. It's so annoying! |
| You were raised in the suburbs? Like I need to ask. |
There’s a lot of things about driving in the city that’s dangerous. |
Clearly, you are special because you expect people in the city to change the way they’ve been doing things for decades to start suit your fragile ways. Would you like people to stop playing gogo music too? |
