iPhone Bluetooth Issue

Anonymous
I updated my iPhone 16 a few days ago with the newest software update and since then when I am listening to Spotify using Bluetooth in my car the dashboard tells me that my iPhone is disconnecting, then the music annoyingly pauses then it reconnects again and the music continues then disconnects again and rinse + repeat.

It has NEVER done this before so I am guessing the latest update played a huge part in this.

Please someone can you offer any helpful insight or tips??
I am super technologically challenged so easy steps please.
Lol!

Are you referring to iOS 26?
I can’t offer you a definitive answer but there is hope. I downloaded iOS 26 to both my iPad and my iPhone 13. I had to do this because of an app I needed that required it. I’m finding iOS 26 to be “buggy”, especially on the iPhone 13.
Apple is pretty good about issuing updates to their operating system and I would expect that they will push out one in the near term.

OP Here, Yes it is the 26 update.

My phone is randomly disconnecting from CarPlay after the update and it is incredibly annoying. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max. You’re not the only one with this issue so it will probably be fixed with the next update op.

I had this issue too.
I tried everything under the sun, like resetting AND restarting my phone, toggling the Bluetooth button on/off a million times, etc.

Too much time and energy.
Today I just purchased an adapter car cord and am just done! Ha!
