Madewell perfect tee has a good neckline to wear under crewneck sweaters and I like that it is form fitting but flattering.

J Crew, Madewell, Uniglo ($9) right now the cotton ones come in at least two lengths and they wash well.

Used to love Bannana Republic or Gap ones now no.
