any experience with Yaz?

Considering it after being on triphasal (sp?) bcp, as I seem to have a fair amount of PMDD type symptoms. Thanks.

| MY OB just suggested this-apparently the stuff you see on tv regarding reactions is overblown. She thinks it is a great pill for people with some anxiety issues and not a problem with weight gain. |

| One thing though..she doesn't suggest if you have breast cancer in immediate family because it CAN make tumors grow faster if you have that gene. I don't so it wasn't an issue but is something to think about if breast cancer runs in your family or if you are adopted and don't know your med history. |

Took Yaz & was fine w/ it.
Actually lost weight on it (b/c I was trying to), not b/c of the pill. |

I was on the correct dosage, but it was 99% effective, I guess I'm in that 1%

| Yasmin caused moodiness for me, but my skin was clear ad can be and I lost weight. |

| I had horrible PMS every month with Yaz. Took me ages to figure out why I felt psychotic for a few days every month. (Actually, DH figured it out. Good thing he waited until I was normal again to tell me.). I switched to Lo-Seasonique and that craziness is gone. |

I was on Yaz for approx 2 years and had bad leg cramps about a week prior to my period, as well as restless leg syndrome. Becuase I have a history of blood clots in my family, my OB took me off it.

| HATED YAZ! OMG, it made me anxious and crazy with a capital C. Was one step away from starting lexapro, but decided to ditch the pill. Best decision I ever made. |
