What is A good score for ISEE test

What is a good enough score for ISEE lower level test when applying for 5th grade at a competitive school?

Anything 6+ is good. Obviously the higher the better, but they just want to see your student has a good grasp of academic concepts.

What school?The competitive schools in DMV haven’t had ISEE or SSAT requirements for 5th grade applicants except GDS may have added it back, but can submit other testing instead. For ISEE, 7+ needed for most competitive schools, though. 6 ok for most others.

I do not think most current GDS kids at 4th grade will get a 6 and above on ISEE.

We’re not DC, but at our competitive schools an average grade of 7+ will get an applicant looked at, but they will need something else too. Most other prep schools want 6+. If you’re legacy or huge capital donors 5+. Non prep schools will be test optional or have a different process

OP here. We are relocating from out of area and told we can take IsEE for application.

Thanks everyone for all input. Just had my DD took a practice test without any prep. She got 7,7,9. Plan to take the real test next month. Glad to know 7+ is ok to apply.
