Out of touch manager

Anyone else have a manager who is delusional? Who uses your 1:1 to talk about their stuff, their trials and tribulations and to complain about how unmotivated they are but the majority of the workload rests with you? What techniques do you use to stay positive ? To not develop negative feelings towards them?

I recently had a manager who didn’t know how to sign a PDF or even convert a Word document to a PDF. Dude thought he was amazing

Managers usually have a lot of pressure from above, as well as below, and most companies aren’t giving anyone a lot of support right now. Don’t be too hard on the middle managers, most are just trying to get by like everyone else.
