Spanx That Doesn't Show When You Sit in a Dress

Anonymous
I would like to try Spanx just for the stomach area. But, it seems like they are all either bodysuits with bras or go to mid-thigh. The first doesn't sound comfortable. The issue with the second is that I see a lot of women wearing Spanx and even if the dress comes to the knees when they sit down you can see the Spanx. Is there one (or a similar brand) that stops higher then mid-thigh?

The bodysuits might be more comfortable than you think.

And I have a pair of the mid-thigh shorts and haven't had a problem with them showing when I sit, even for knee-length dresses. The legs ride up a bit on me, so they end up hitting higher on my leg and don't show when I sit.

But the briefs might be the way to go based on your concerns.

Nordstrom has several different brands and styles online (including Spanx) so you could purchase a few and then return the ones that you don't like.

Not sure what the point is. We know when you are wearing it regardless; it doesn’t make your face look thinner.

I prefer the bodysuits for this reason- I have one that scoops under the bra though. I have tried the high waisted brief, but they always shift/roll down. They used to have some that had a loop around your bra, but those were also difficult to put on.

What you want is the kind that have shoulder straps and go to mid thigh but go under the bra in front. It looks insane by itself, but under a dress it works the best. The full bodysuit might be okay if you have a small bust.

It’s a good thing we can’t see your personality.

Ah friend at least try the correct undergarments because it makes a difference, even if you are a youthful 16 year old or an 89 year old. Get thee to Nordstroms.
