We host a large-ish Thanksgiving (15-20 ppl) and have found it makes sense to order a handful of vegetarian sides, to decrease the cooking burden. In the past we’ve ordered from Mindy’s catering but they don’t have many veg options this year (no fish or meat). Would love a higher end option compared to WF/grocery stores. I know this is far in advance but it takes some going back and forth with the fam to figure out the right menu.

Other than putting bacon on something, I can't think of any traditional sides that aren't vegetarian. Green beans, mashed or roast potatoes, sweet potatoes, cranberry ... and dressing without meat is pretty common, although if you are sensitive to chicken stock you might want to make your own dressing.
I know you said higher end, but mashed potatoes are mashed potatoes. I'd look at Wegmans or Fresh Market. |
| Wegmans might work. |

Any place, just don't order anything with meat or eggs, and just vegetables.
Do vegetarians eat fruit even if not a vegetable? |
| I don’t think my initial question was clear. I’m not interested in suggestions for vegetarian sides (I’m aware there are many options). Just a nicer place to order from (eg a catering place or private/company). We have done wegmans and Whole Foods in the past and haven’t loved the quality. |
| Whole foods. Hit or miss |
| Why don't you have your guests bring a dish to share? Your vegetarian guests can bring something they like. It would be disappointing to have to eat some grocery store mediocre side vs something homemade someone else can bring if you're stretched thin. |

Do you have a Maggiano's or Carmines like restaurant near you where you can order a few pasta disses?
For our Thanksgiving we have a few teens who do not like Thanksgiving dishes and this is what we do. |

To prefer frozen and reheated mushy pasta dishes? Why is this a thing? It’s a tv dinner. |
| I'm a vegetarian. I expect very little on Thanksgiving. If you are making green beans, you can make them vegetarian. Get vegetarian gravy. Sweet Potato casserole. Mashed potatoes. Cornbread without lard. It's not that complicated and I don't expect much. |
| Wegmans has plenty. Their pre-ordering system isn't up yet, but it should be up soon. |
You asked about catering or private chefs but haven’t shared where you are. If you were in DC, for example, I’d have several to share who do great vegetarian meals around Thanksgiving, but they wouldn’t make sense if you live an hour or more outside the city. |
