6'1" contact hitter - what length baseball bat

| Kid is 15, 6'1", and 175lbs- he is a PO for high school and hits infrequently on travel (say about 1/3 of games). Needs a new bat and is a contact hitter. Currently in a 32" - should he move to 33" or stay in 32" given his (relative lack of) hitting? |

| I think whatever he’s most comfortable with is fine. He doesn’t need the top of the line anything as a PO so maybe get a mid-line 33 and he can choose which one is best for him. For faster pitchers in wood bat tourneys, my 6’2” kid will sometimes grab his 32 inch to get around on it faster. It’s nice to have a choice. |
