Paid FT internship after graduation vs FT job

A FT job after college is probably better than a paid internship (in business field) but in this market, do you think its a good idea?

Any job you can get in this environment is good. Take the internship if you don't have a FT job offer.

My department used to hire interns for Fall and Spring semesters, and they were often new grads. We all tried to help them with connections in our field, resume feedback, etc.

Thank you for your advice. Should they take the internship now even though its "only" October?

dp.. take it if they don't have a FT offer. If they get one that they like, they can pull out of the internships. Most are at will.

+1 keep getting experience any way you can. If they get an offer, either finish out the one month before starting or, if the company insists they need you fast, gracefully resign the internship.
