Colonoscopy prep. Will I sleep tonite?

Every time I come back to bed, I feel like passing gas within minutes and have to go back. Took dulcolax at 4 pm and MiraLAX at 6. Will the gas X I take at 10 let me sleep??

It’s been a few years since mine, but as best as I remember I threw a blanket on the floor next to the bathroom and dozed in-between trips.

I put a yoga mat on the floor in the bathroom and covered myself with a blanket in between toilet trips.

I was pretty cleaned out by about 11-12 and slept ok after. I remember that the actual colonoscopy was the best nap I’d had in a long time.

Same. It wasn’t the best night, but I slept ok. The worst was having to wake up early to finish the prep.

I slept in my bed but put a towel down in case of leaking or not waking up quite in time (didn't need it).

Yeah the night before is rough. But you will have a nice nap when you go in for your procedure.

I was very nervous about my first colonoscopy but it turned out better than I thought. The tip about trying to nap on the bathroom floor or nearby is the solid.
