how does FAFSA work with two kids?

Kid 2 has to create an account for FAFSA? And invite me? And I need to fill it in two times or not

Also CSS profile. Same question.

We didn't get aid last time - hoping with two we get a break!

FAFSA no longer takes multiples children into account. CSS still does, I believe.

Some schools do though.

My kid’s school states it does take multiple kids in college into account.

You find out if you will get aid by using the college's Net Price Calculator.

I personally don’t think parents should get “credit” for having a bunch of kids close together.

FWIW - this year some smaller privates that give sibling discount - Williams Swat Haverford Grinnell Macalester. Also Wash U.
Northwestern and U of Chicago do not.

OP I realize about the FAFSA change. both kids will be at private colleges.

anyway, the question is: Do I need to fill these out twice or do I do it one time for two kids?
