Question about Landon middle school

Hello, I have a rising sixth grader who is going to be looking at Landon. I was wondering how competitive it typically is for middle school admissions in sixth grade when elementary schools are also ending that year.

Sixth grade is still Lower School at Landon. The Middle School is only 7th and 8th grades. It's very competitive, but also the year that has the most openings (the school begins in 3rd, but that year is mostly siblings and legacies). If your child fits the Landon mold there is decent chance of admit for 6th.
