Winter, non-school options for basketball for hs girls in northern VA

| Title pretty much says it. What are some good options for hs girls to play winter basketball? My daughter will not be medically cleared to try out for her hs team (which she'd probably make, but be pretty far down the bench). She wants to play before AAU starts in March. She can do Evolution work outs, but they don't have teams for her age. Last I heard, there aren't rec teams for hs girls due to lack of interest. Any suggestions appreciated. |

| There should be some AAU teams that play in Fall/Winter. Ask around. It as many as the spring/summer, but there are a few. |

| Fall league is almost over. Most teams already have their roster set for Winter League. Each county has a rec league, there's bound to be HS Rec somewhere. |

| Not Virginia, but Tru2form in Potomac/bethesda is starting a winter girls league. They have a good girls program with quite a few local HS players training there |
