My co-worker's 7yo son was hit by a truck and has a long, long road to recovery. He is in a wheel chair now and only has his non-dominant hand free of a cast. We have a small company and they sent him a card and $200 door dash gift card for ordering meals during hospital time. I was thinking of sending them a package of things the son can stay occupied with while bed bound for a while. Is this appropriate to get his home address and send a package personally?
That’s very kind. I think it would be nice to text coworker and say “so sorry, I would love to send or drop off some puzzles etc. is that ok? Just let me know best address for delivery “
Of course it would be appropriate. Prayers for the son.
Or if you actually work in the same location could you give it to them if they come in to work
Oh my gosh, poor kid. Your idea sounds really nice.
We are praying for a full recovery.
Yes of course, if you have the means it is appropriate.
Except some "why didn't you tell us?" comments from your coworkers when they find out. Hope kiddo recovers fully.
Yes, of course. I hope he makes a full recovery. Thank you for your kindness, OP.
