this is a blank canvas
depends on where you are looking look at providers in network for insurance ask for recommendations from school biggest problem is assuming they are 17 you don’t have a lot of time before they are an adult and they are refusing therapy. Refusal to work with a therapist isn’t going to yield a lot of results you are seeking perhaps if you haven’t already start with a cognitive testing and ask them for recommendations |
| If things are getting really difficult, you may want to consider a partial hospitalization program. One hour of therapy once a week isn’t often enough when things are in a bad state. Search this forum for PHP and you may find some helpful threads. |
| Are their weekend programs out there I wonder? |
There are afternoon programs - intensive outpatient programs or IOPs. |

What about something like horse therapy—healing while riding horses— forget the name, but I’ve heard good things.
Think outside the box. |
