Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS)
| FCPS had GT testing today. Can you tell me what to expect? I am new to this process. Thank you for any useful information, |
What to expect? Are you a 2nd grader infiltrating this parent blog? |
|
20:39, what's your problem?
I think the OP was asking what happens next. OP, it depends on whether your child is in 1st or 2nd grade. If first grade, nothing happens other than you receive the scores in the mail in a few months. If second grade, the screening process starts in the winter. Go to the FCPS website for the timeline and other info. |
It was a joke. I guess you have no sense of humor. |
| I know you didn't really think a 2nd grader was posting here, but a joke? It wasn't even close to funny. |
LOL! Too bad what I said bothered you. |
Touchy touchy. Are you on the rag or something? |
OK, don't lose your sense of humor! It's all over if we stop laughing. I thought it was funny -- but then I'm so over this topic of conversation I could puke. |
|
Coming back to the original topic, when would we get the NNAT test results that my First Grader gave yesterday?
DC said the results will be due this Friday in his call report - but I recall reading it takes several weeks for the results to be mailed to the parents |
| If I recall correctly, it take a few months for reports to go out to parents. |
| I don't think they mail the results until December or January? I think it depends on the school. |
thanks..that's what I thought. Interpreting DC's comments about what happened in the school is always a challenge
|
Me too. I think I have to stop visiting this board - can't take any more of the GT discussion! |
| Here's a hint: Don't go onto a thread that actually mentions GT if it bothers you so much. |
Yeah, but it's a bit like a train wreck: you can't help but gawk. It's hard to avoid the GT thread in the VA Public Schools forum. It is all anyone discusses. Which makes me wonder how many people are really contributing or if it is a small group of anal parents who keep it alive. |
