Should DS wear a suit?

Khakis, button down, navy blazer and tie. No socks. That’s apparently important lol

What shoes? And how specific was your school on dress code—DS’s school is not specific: “semi formal.”

I'm a different poster, my son wants shoes like these: Mix No. 6 Haigen Loafer - Free Shipping | DSW https://share.google/he6zfi72MOWeF8n4E

Similar here, except the blazer is black and there will be socks.

Also put his name in the blazer. They all end up getting tossed on the tables.

Mine is wearing a suit with white tennis shoes (adidas).

Our school states the dress is "semi-formal". Both of my sons plan on wearing suits - but maybe no tie.

Why no socks? It’s like the millennial men at wedding with no socks. Is this a thing now? To not wear socks with fancy shoes?
