| So which college ranking top 30 is still “generous”? |
| Omg |
| Emory was in the group sued over Early Decision. ED has allowed some schools to remain “need blind” by filling a large chunk of class through ED, which skews wealthy. Will be interesting to see if others move to need aware this year. |
|
I appreciate the transparency, I suspect others are doing the same but not disclosing it, maybe they are just "need curious?"

| I didn’t realize the Oxford campus had already been need aware. |
|
Boom there it is - transparency at last!
I wonder who else is next? |
I think this was a factor for class of '29, RD was not the blood bath of yore for my full pay DC or peers at our high school. |
|
Agree Guys, nowadays they are all (secretly) need aware… |
| This is an interesting pairing with the news that Emory is tuition free for families making less than $200k (or something in that neighborhood.) |
????? |
| Almost every top college is need aware for internationals despite being "need blind". It's fake. |
Emory will be tuition-free for students whose families earn $200,000 or less https://share.google/VgeYslOdbRsMt0Lkl |
Yes, the donut hole problem just got worse. They want the FGLI students, that helps diversity and their social mobility scoring but they need full pay students to enable that. |
Or need blind will allow them to minimize the number of students getting free tuition. |
