But will you actually be playing for Sterling or will you be forced to wear a Herndon uniform and play well above your ability level in ECNL-R just to benefit Herndon's club? |
| "Compete" in national, regional and local leagues is a push... Losing 10-0 ona weekly basis is NOT competing |
| Sterling is the one team I never liked playing against in local tourneys. One game they get pounded 8-0; next game they bring out the wood. |
That part....or will they wait until you've committed, then tell you |
| This club is notorious for having random players added just to win. |
Maybe that's why their results are so all over the place... depends on who or how many random players they brought in for that particular game. |
It’s a small club with usually only 1 team per age group, so the kids skill is greatly varied. There are usually a few really good kids on each team, so if one can’t make it the score will be reflective of that. Some coaches might bring in outside players, but I haven’t seen it as the norm. |
|
I know for a fact that week in and week out the team will look different depending on who they invite or who is available that weekend.
Kids and families around come and guest play for any Sterling team because it's free and they get to play an extra game. The existing families and players don't complain because they might actually get a chance to win a game. |
| Sterling coulda been top tier if they had their money and pathway together. |
|
I saw Sterling Academy I at the nations cup? Is this the same team? The entire team was Latino and it and I had to speak Spanish to the families just to get some information
Just curious |
OP, please explain your relationship to WV Soccer. Part of your pathway? |
¿Algún problema? Sounds like a bit comment slipped through your racism. Fun fact: by 2035-2040 there’ll be the same, if not more, Spanish-speakers here in the Estados Unidos de América than Anglo-speakers. Are you coping yet? \______/ container attached for your incoming foam. |
Nope you’re just insecure. I speak Spanish so more Spanish speakers by 35-40 doesn’t bother me 😂 Now can you answer my question or not? |
