| On someone's recommendation I bought the Our Whole Lives packet, not realizing it's not a resource for parents but rather educators. I would like a really good, comprehensive and non shaming book about sex that's appropriate for this age group. Any ideas? We have the Good Pictures Bad Pictures book but I'm looking for something more informative about how babies are made. |

| This is OP. Thank you all! |
| Isn’t it early for how babies are made? I have a 7 year old who never asked ….just curious. |
It's not too early if they have siblings and cousins. Better they get real information than hear misinformation elsewhere. |
I talked to mine about it at 6. We used the “ It’s not the Stork” book Because DD is adopted we talked a lot about how she grew in someone else’s tummy, but God brought her to us etc. we have books about adoption for preschool age on up. So I think for her it was a natural question because of those conversation. |
You don't need to explain sex but they should know there's a sperm and an egg and that a baby grows in a uterus. Girls should know the basics of a period. Teach your kids early and in clear, non euphemistic language. You need to be the one they hear this from, not some sixth grader on the bus. |
No it is not too early. |

Also addresses private parts, etc. they have been on lots of podcasts so you can listen to the founder or you can order their resources. |
