If the government shuts down will it affect the VA gov election?

Who will Virginians blame? We have a very high percentage of feds, contractors, and military who won’t be getting paid and are being threatened with even more firings.
Will this change anyone’s vote or benefit one of the candidates? That vote is soon and this will be fresh in people’s minds

??? The ACA enhanced subsidies do not provide medical coverage to non citizens. They are for the working citizens. 24 million of them.
I think you are confused with medical assistance that provides safety net to hospitals when an uninsured noncitizen receives life-saving care in the ER. That still exists and has nothing to do with this.
