Actually yes. I read an article 30 years ago about a prisoner who would send letters and collect settlements from companies that wanted to avoid the hassle.

Don’t people eventually get punished for abusing the legal system with constant frivolous lawsuits . Seems like that should have happened to him a few decades ago.
