| Just curious... |
| Until it starts to smell or fall apart. Mine last a long time. I wring them out thoroughly every.single.time I use them. |
|
Standard sponge, 15-30 mins. Then trash.
I do use the flat sponge cloths that can be washed, I use them for one use then wash. |
| I’ve never wanted to use a sponge. I don’t get them. I have a scrubby brush, a metal scrubber and paper towels. |
How long do you use your scrubby brush and metal scrubber before throwing out/replacing? |
| I couldn't take it anymore and stopped using sponges altogether. Instead, I use washable dishcloths for most things and those thin green scrubbies for anything that needs scrubbing. The scrubbie gets stored in a little draining rack that suctions to the inside of the sink and that allows it to dry out so it stays fairly fresh. The dishcloth gets replaced with a fresh one daily and then tossed in the laundry with the towels. |
| Like half a year to three months. AKA way too long. I try to remember to change them out once a month, but that rarely happens. |
| A few months. I put it in the dishwasher every time I run it. Lasts a lot longer that way. |
Metal scrubber is one use and then trash. 15 mins. Brushes, I bleach them after 1-2 uses. |
| I put mine and the Dobie in the dishwasher |
| Until they disappear. |
| Less than a month. Once the crud is difficult to remove or pieces start to come off or it looks they are simply a mechanism to add germs rather than remove them. |
I put them in the dishwasher and I replace the metal scrubbies idk, every six months? Whenever they sort of start to fall apart. |
| Probably too long, but I know it when I see it. |
Kinda wasteful to throw out after 15 minutes. So you wash a water glass then toss? |
