What bag has replaced the lululemon belt bag for teens?

Anonymous
I’m trying to think of a gift for my niece. I asked my teen DSs but they were clueless. My niece already has that lululemon bag and also, I have noticed that teen girls don’t seem to be wearing it anymore. Any suggestions?

We constantly post this. Don’t do it. Ask her. We don’t know what’s in, she does. What one kid likes another bates.

Be direct, ask for suggestions and preferably a link or list.

My daughter has one that she doesn’t carry and doesn’t want anything else.

I don't think anything has replaced it. Pockets in their huge jeans, I guess. I would just not buy her a bag. Get her huge jeans!

You can’t ask if you want it to be a surprise!

Maybe the lulu dual wristlet? My daughter has one and actually uses it.

She was never was into the lulu belt bag.

It's interesting how my kids and their friends have never been into whatever trends are always posted here by middle aged people.

The stuff you see on social media, or at school, applies to just one subset of kids. Gone are the days when "Everyone" wanted the same thing, because "Everyone" watched the same stuff on TV. Now it's all subsets and subgenres and you really just need to ask.

That’s my point. My kids and my nieces and nephews do not want surprises. They are all teens.

Get her a Lululemon GC. Don’t twist yourself in knots

The LLL Daily Multi-Pocket Tote Bag 20L is a nice tote bag.

I mean, I don’t think that’s how everybody is. That’s why people crowd source to find out the trends.

Ask her to do a wishlist— and understand that wishes may change frequently. Most kids are fine with gift card or cash that allow them to choose their own purchases in their own timeframes.

Go with a Kendra Scott necklace or earrings instead.

Longchamp large le pliage among my kid’s friends. Different use than the belt bag but this is the bag they want right now.

My teen wouldn’t want Kendra Scott or lululemon anything. I wouldn’t pick out something for a teen unless you absolutely know they would want it. Popular doesn’t mean it suits everyone’s tastes.

Why not offer to take her shopping? Give her a price limit and then take her out for coffee afterwards. she gets what she wants and has a nice afternoon with her aunt

This is not popular with my DD or her friends and they wore Kendra Scott in middle school, not now. This shows you different things are popular in different areas.
